Prayer s of intercession
Let us pray for the Church and for the world and let us
thank God for his goodness.
Almighty God our heavenly Father, you promised
through your Son Jesus Christ to hear us when we pray
in faith.
We pray for the witness of the church this week,
particularly in places where the Christian or other
religions are ignored and forgotten. We pray for those
who carry major responsibilities as Ministers and church
leaders and who are expected to know what to say or
do, whatever the situation. Give them compassion and
wisdom and the mind of Christ
Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.
We pray for aid workers in difficult parts of the world,
where there is fighting and bombing going on.
Demolishing livelihoods and homes. We pray for those
involved in negotiations to create cease fires and hopes
of peace between factions. We pray that leaders will be
successful in their endeavours with God’s help.

FAREWELL TO BONNI-BELLE
50TH ANNIVERSARY OF ST. DAVID’S
LARKFIELD’S WEEKEND AWAY
Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.
Comfort all those we have thought of and those who
come to mind in the quiet. We pray that God’s love will
be shown to them. Give them courage and hope in their
troubles. We remember those who have gone before us
and now share in God’s love for ever.
Lord in your mercy hear our prayer.
Christ: according to your promises. Grant us with them
a share in your eternal kingdom.
Merciful Father; accept these prayers for the sake
of your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amen
We pray for those we love, the special people you have
given to us, wherever they may be. We pray for our
friends, the close ones and those we sometimes forget,
those with special problems and those that need you.
We thank you for each of them and for what they give to
us. Keep us faithful to them as you are faithful to us.
Grapevine
We pray for those for whom the day will feel like a
long and hard one. For those in hospital or ill at home.
For those who have been involved in accidents and
are consequently far from family and their home. We
pray for those who are down hearted seeking a job
or other real need. Those waiting for news of friends
or neighbours. As we think of those who need our
personal prayers we have a time of quiet…..
Ever loving Father God,
we give you thanks for our
Church family.
Grant that we become a vibrant,
spirit filled Christ centred Church,
which is faithful to scripture rooted
in prayer and where all age groups are
represented, as we give glory
to you our God, in our
worship and in our lives.

This year’s Gift Day will be on Sunday 28th June.
Letters and gift envelopes are being distributed, if for any reason you do not receive one
please speak to Paul or take an envelope from the table in the welcome area.
Gift Day is one of our major fund raising events each year so please give as generously
as you can. Thank you.
