Prayer s of intercession
Teach us the meaning of Silence. Help us to learn
to listen to your voice. Father help us to grow closer
to you in Prayer.
Father God we pray for your Church in every part of the
World. We pray for those who do not have the freedom
to worship you openly.
We thank you Father that we can worship you without
fear. Lord teach us how to pray.
Father we pray for our Local Councillors, our Members
of Parliament. Inspire them to choose the right priorities.
Give them wisdom in their dealings with, and courage to
use their power in the Service of all people.
Forgive us Father when we are deaf to the cries of
suffering Children; blind to the needs of the poor and
hungry. We pray for those who hope for peace of mind;
those who long to feel secure.
Father God we pray for all those who work to meet our
needs, to enrich our lives, those who spend their lives
caring for and serving others. Help us not to take all this
Service for granted and be thankful for their Care and
Sacrifice.
Father God we rejoice that we can come to your Church
each Sunday, to remember that you created us and all
the World with all it’s many wonders.
We remember that Sunday is the day your Son Jesus
rose from the dead and granted Salvation to all who
believe.
May we come to our Sunday worship with joy in our
hearts, hungry to hear your Word and to sing your
Praises and to glimpse the Glory of your Presence.
The Prayer of St. Ignatius.
Teach us good Lord
To serve Thee as thou deservest,
To give and not to count the cost,
To fight and not to heed the wounds,
To toil and not to seek for rest,
To labour and not to ask for any reward
Save that of knowing that we do your will
Through Jesus Christ our Lord
Amen. So be it.

Father God, bless the Families of our Church in
Sittingbourne, May we accept one another as Brothers
& Sisters, finding joy and strength in our worship
together. May we as a Church welcome all who wish
to worship with us each Sunday.
WILD
Father God, you come to us in Prayer if only we are
willing to pray. Help us to shape our lives around our
praying. Order our lives in such a way that prayer
becomes as natural to us as eating and drinking.
